How long does my order take to ship?

Order & Processing Time

The time we need to prepare an order for shipping varies. For details, see individual items.

We handcraft all products within 2 – 14 days.

Oftentimes, orders process faster than that, but we can’t guarantee a faster processing time.

Selecting expedited shipping at checkout will not shorten the processing time.

 

Estimated shipping times

7 - 14 business days. Typical transit time is 5 - 7 days with USPS Ground Advantage, and 2 - 3 days with USPS Priority.

We will do our best to meet these shipping estimates, but cannot guarantee them. Actual delivery time will depend on the shipping method you choose and USPS’ processing.

Our default shipping method is USPS Ground Advantage mail, and shipping upgrades can be added on during checkout.

Once an item is shipped, we are not responsible for issues that may be caused by USPS, including delayed delivery, lost items, stolen items, etc. We will not refund or replace these items.

Do you offer international shipping? 

At this time we do not offer international shipping.

Refund and Returns Policy

RETURNS

I gladly accept returns within 30 days of delivery under the following conditions.

Contact me at petraslay@petraslaydesign.com within: 5 days of delivery

Ship items back within: 30 days of delivery

I don’t accept cancellations, but please contact me at petraslay@petraslaydesign.com if you have any problems with your order.

The following items can’t be returned or exchanged

Because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, I can’t accept returns for:

  • Custom or personalized orders

  • Items on sale

  • Gift Cards

Conditions of return

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.

Shipping your Return

To return your product, you should first contact us at petraslay@petraslaydesign.com and once approved, mail your product to:

Buyers are responsible for return shipping costs. If the item is not returned in its original condition, the buyer is responsible for any loss in value.

If you received an incorrect or damaged product on arrival:

Contact us at petraslay@petraslaydesign.com.

We will then email you a return label that you can print to send the product back. You will receive a full refund, including shipping costs you may have paid, once the item was received.

Exchanges

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged.  If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at petraslay@petraslaydesign.com and send your item to:

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.

If you are shipping an item over $50, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We can’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

 

Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

Late or missing refunds

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.

Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.

Next, contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Sale items

Only regular-priced items may be refunded, unfortunately, sale items cannot be refunded.

Handmade Disclaimer

The product(s) you receive might vary slightly from the product picture due to the nature of your product(s) being 100% handmade.

Care of your jewelry

– Clean with a lightly moistened piece of soft fabric. Don’t use solvents or jewelry cleaners. You may use a cotton swab dipped in rubbing alcohol or a baby wipe to clean smudges on matte polymer clay only.

– Clean Brass, Silver, and gold-plated items with an anti-tarnish cloth.

– Keep away from water, heat, direct sunlight, makeup, hairspray, and perfume.

– Store in a box and keep away from sharp objects, as they may scratch glossy finishes.

– Polymer clay is a super light, slightly flexible yet durable material. Pieces are delicate and should not be intentionally bent, pulled, or dropped. 

Crochet Disclaimer

Crochet items may contain small add-ons or eyes and can be a choking hazard, therefore, they should not be given to children under 3 years of age.
