I started Petra Slay Design with the vision of creating colorful jewelry for fun-loving, self-confident women who know their personal style.
As a mom of two beautiful girls, I was juggling a successful and demanding career as a nurse. I always found myself looking for comfortable, trendy, and affordable earrings. For someone with a terrible nickel allergy, I had a hard time finding nickel-free earrings. In addition, I looked for fashion-forward and lightweight earrings that are unique. Most often, this meant limited choices, or fashion earrings that were too heavy and would stretch out my earlobes. My solution was to create my earrings in fun and trendy colors. My handcrafted earrings are created with nickel-free stainless steel or titanium components. So even my girls could wear them with ease.

All of 'Petra Slay Design' pieces are created with lightweight polymer clay or resin and high-quality jewelry components. For comfort, all jewelry is crafted with hypoallergenic materials such as nickel-free stainless steel or titanium. You can wear my stud earrings and big statement earrings in total comfort because polymer clay is super light. Also, my color designs provide endless options to reflect your personal style and help you be your beautiful best.
Each of my pieces are individually designed and sculpted by hand from start to finish. No two pieces are exactly the same and that’s what makes them unique and special, just like you.
